Sara Eapen

Sara Eapen has a diverse work experience in the field of data science, biostatistics, and research. Sara is currently serving as the Head of Clinical Data Science at Valo since January 2021. Prior to that, they worked as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy of Rutgers from March 2019 to December 2020. Sara also worked as an Advisor, RWE/RWD at Mango Sciences from June 2019 to May 2020.

Sara Eapen has held significant positions in the industry, including Vice President, Science at Aetion, Inc. from June 2016 to June 2019, and Director, Quantitative Sciences at Flatiron Health from November 2014 to June 2015. Sara also worked as a Manager at Analysis Group from January 2008 to November 2014.

Before their industry roles, Sara Eapen gained valuable research experience as a Senior Principal Biostatistician at Novartis and as a Research Scientist at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. Sara joined Novartis in 2006 and worked until 2008. Prior to that, they served as a Research Scientist at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute from August 2002 to June 2006.

Sara Eapen pursued their education at St. Anne's high school from 1984 to 1996. Following that, they attended the University of Rochester from 1996 to 2002, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Statistics.
