Kunal Sinha

Kunal Sinha is a seasoned entrepreneur and industry leader with extensive experience in the energy transition and critical minerals sectors. As the Co-Founder and CEO of Valor since September 2025, Kunal leads a startup focused on revolutionizing the critical minerals market with a patented electrochemical platform. Kunal also serves as a Senior Advisory Board member at Zero Infinity Partners and an Angel Investor at Magrathea, which specializes in low carbon magnesium production. An accomplished industry collaborator, Kunal has helped secure significant funding for Worcester Polytechnic Institute and has advised multiple organizations, including the Maryland Robotics Center and the Circular Electronics Partnership. Previous roles include Senior Vice President at Glencore, where Kunal spearheaded the company's recycling business, and Non-Executive Director at Li-Cycle. Kunal holds an MBA with distinction from London Business School and advanced degrees in Robotics and Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and IIT Kharagpur, respectively.
