Tom M. has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Tom most recently worked as a Partner, Engineering at Valora and cLabs in 2021. Prior to that, from 2018 to 2021, they held the role of Software Development Engineer Test at Velosys and Alpha Ledger Technologies, where they focused on UI and API testing, test integration, and release management. In 2017 and 2018, Tom worked at Pacific Software Publishing, Inc. as a Web Application Tester, conducting test case writing, verification testing, and automated testing. Tom also has experience with Google as a Geo Visual Data Specialist from 2015 to 2017, and with AmeriCorps St. Louis and the US Forest Service as an emergency response team member and invasive species control technician, respectively. Earlier in their career, Tom worked at Point Inside as a Content Development Technician and at the Washington State Department of Transportation as a Wetland Monitoring Intern.

Tom M. began their education history in 2009 at The Evergreen State College, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degree in Ecology and Geography. Tom completed their studies there in 2012.

In 2015, Tom enrolled at the University of Washington to obtain a Certificate in Wetland Science & Management. Tom completed this program in 2016.

In 2021, Tom attended Code Fellows to pursue a degree in Software Development in Full-Stack JavaScript. Tom completed this program in 2022.

Additionally, Tom has obtained various certifications. In 2022, they earned an "Advanced Software Development with JavaScript" certification from Code Fellows. In 2020, Tom obtained several certifications, including "HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for Web Developers" and "The Unix Workbench" from Coursera. In 2019, they received the "IBM Blockchain Foundation for Developers" certification from Coursera. Tom also holds a certification in "Certificate In Wetland Science & Managegement" from the University of Washington.
