Martin Guzman has a diverse work experience in the field of Information Technology. Martin started their career in 2003 at Allstate, where they held various managerial positions, such as Release & Change Management Manager and Information Technology Manager. During their tenure at Allstate, they demonstrated expertise in infrastructure services, software development, and field office support.

In 2017, Martin joined the City of Chicago as the Director of Information Systems, where they played a crucial role in developing the organization's case management system and managing all IT vendor relationships and budgets.

In 2019, they became the Director of Information Technology at AKIRA/shopAKIRA.com, where they focused on driving the transformation of their technology as a strategic business partner.

Currently, Martin is the Vice President of Information Technology at Valor Equity Partners, where they lead the IT department and directs strategic vision and innovative initiatives within the organization's technological landscape.

In addition to their formal education, Martin also obtained several certifications, including a Chief Information Security Officer Program, Threat Intelligence and Cybersecurity Analytics Certificate, and Enterprise Cybersecurity, all from NYU Tandon School of Engineering. Martin also holds an ITIL version 2 Foundation certification from Loyalist Exam Services, obtained in 2009.
