Shaan Patel

Shaan Patel is the Managing Director at Valsoft, where they focus on value creation across the company's vertical market software portfolio. They previously held the position of Project Leader at Boston Consulting Group, where they were promoted in the earliest window. Prior to that, Shaan gained experience as a Pecaut Fellow at the LEAP | Pecaut Centre for Social Impact and served in various analytical roles at Deloitte and MLSE. Shaan also held leadership positions, including Vice President of Development for the York Finance Club and Chief Investment Strategist for the York University Student Investment Fund. They are currently enrolled in the Waterloo Catalyst Summer Program at the University of Waterloo and are participating in an exchange semester at the National University of Singapore.
