Director Strategic Accounts at VALSPEC

Chris Relton has over 25 years of experience in the industrial automation industry. Chris began their career at ABB as a Regional Sales Manager, where they successfully added new clients and replaced competitor systems. Chris then moved on to Invensys, where they held various roles including Director of Sales in Canada and VP of Sales for the Eastern Region. At Invensys, they managed both direct and indirect sales teams, contributing to the company's success in selling industrial automation solutions. In 2008, Chris joined Invensys/Schneider-Electric as the VP of Sales for Canada, overseeing direct sales, sales operations, and the establishment of an indirect sales channel. Currently, they are the Director of Strategic Accounts at VALSPEC, where they lead the company in providing computer system lifecycle and regulatory compliance services to the life sciences industry.

Chris Relton attended McGill University from 1982 to 1986, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering. Chris further pursued their education at McGill University from 1989 to 1991, earning a Master of Business Administration degree with a specialization in International Finance/Marketing.
