Igor Velkov

Igor Velkov has extensive experience in finance and management. Igor is currently working at Valtech as the Finance Director DACH. Prior to this, they held various roles at Valtech including CFO Switzerland, Director Finance, Legal & Admin, and Deputy Managing Director. Before joining Valtech, Igor worked at Unic as a Finance Manager and Lead Link Finance. Igor also held the position of Senior Financial Accountant and Team Leader at Unic. Igor started their career at Dieter Vokinger Holding AG as the Leiter Finanz- und Personalwesen. Prior to that, they worked at Swiss Hutless International AG as a Buchhalter and they completed their Lehre Kaufmann there.

Igor Velkov pursued an education at HWZ University of Applied Sciences in Business Administration Zurich. From 2021 to 2023, they completed a Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) in Accounting and Finance. In 2022, they also earned a Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) in Finance Transformation. Additionally, from 2021 to 2022, Igor obtained a Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) in Accounting Expert. Prior to this, between 2003 and 2006, they completed a program in Betriebswirtschafter HF mit eidg. Fachausweis, although the degree name is unspecified.
