Michael Rasmussen

Michael Rasmussen has a wide range of experience in the field of commerce and technology. Michael is currently serving as the Vice President of the Composable Commerce Practice at Valtech since August 2022. Prior to this, they worked at EY from October 2020 to August 2022 as the Digital Commerce Practice Lead.

Before joining EY, Michael held multiple roles at Zilker Technology LLC. Michael served as the Chief Commerce Architect from July 2019 to October 2020 and as a Senior Commerce Architect from September 2018 to October 2020.

Michael'scareer began in 2008 at SapientRazorfish, where they worked as a Technical Architect for a decade, until September 2018. Prior to that, they worked as a Consultant at Daugherty Business Solutions from September 2007 to August 2008.

Earlier in their career, Michael worked as a Senior Consultant at Software Architects from March 2004 to September 2007. Michael also served as a Senior Consultant at Sogeti USA from an unspecified start date in 2004 to September 2007.

Michael Rasmussen earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Purdue University from 1999 to 2003. Michael also obtained additional certifications, including the M2 Solution Specialist from Magento, an Adobe Company in 2019, and the IBM Certified Application Developer - WebSphere Commerce V7.0 from IBM in 2016.
