Sam Ralton is a Senior Data Scientist at Valtech, where they lead and deliver projects utilizing machine learning and advanced analytics to provide insights for clients. With a proven ability to design and productionize data solutions such as uplift models and recommender systems, Sam is passionate about mentoring and fostering technical growth within teams. They previously obtained a Master's in Astrophysics from the University of Edinburgh, focusing their thesis on unsupervised machine learning methods to classify galaxies. Earlier in their career, Sam worked as a bartender at Greenmantle Bar and Kitchen and as a customer service advisor at Argos.
