Fernando Cantú

Fernando Cantú has gained extensive experience in various roles and industries throughout their career. Fernando currently serves as the Director of Market Development at VALTICS, a position they started in August 2022. Prior to that, in 2018, they co-founded Socio-Fundador of Endoscopía y Más. From 2016 to 2017, they worked as the Senior Business Development Manager for Mexico, Caribbean, and Latin America at Leistritz Advanced Technologies Corp, where they focused on increasing market share and developing opportunities in the oil and gas, petrochemical, heavy industry, cement, and power markets. Before that, from 2014 to 2016, they held the position of Senior Product Manager at GE Power Conversion, leading new product lines and building strong relationships in the motor segment. Beginning in 2011, they held various roles at ABB, including Low Voltage Systems Sales Manager, Special Projects Sales Manager, and Business Unit Manager PAMI, where they managed automation projects in industries such as mining, pulp and paper, and metals. Overall, Fernando Cantú has proven expertise in market development, business development, sales, and project management.

Fernando Cantú obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León. Fernando completed their undergraduate studies from 1981 to 1985. Additionally, they pursued further education at the IPADE Business School, where they earned an Associate's degree in Business Administration and Management, General, completing the program in 1994.
