Valtix appoints new CEO, two VP's
Security software company Valtix has announced the appointment of Douglas Murray as CEO. Mr. Murray’s appointment is one of three key leadership hires for the company, with Anthony Narducci joining as VP of Worldwide Sales, and Joe Palazola named VP of Worldwide Operations. The appointments coincides with the securing of $12.5 million strategic funding from Cisco Investments, Northgate Capital and The Syndicate Group. "Valtix has created the technology that will define the next decade of multi-cloud network security," said Mr. Murray. "I am thrilled to welcome new investors Cisco Investments, Northgate and The Syndicate Group to the Valtix team and to significantly expand our management team with these talented executives. Our investors have a shared view on the future of this segment, and I look forward to working with each of them to scale the business in 2021." Mr. Murray brings more than 20 years of leadership experience to Valtix, with expertise in sales, marketing, strategy and business development, particularly within tech companies. He was most recently CEO of Big Switch Networks, and has also been a senior leader with Juniper, Extreme Networks and Sun Microsystems. Mr. Narducci has more than 20 years of sales experience within the technology sector. He comes to Valtix from Vectra AI, where, as VP of Sales, he led the company’s go-to-market execution and revenue growth strategy in North America. Mr. Palazola is a veteran operations executive with more than 15 years of experience working in technology companies. Like Mr. Murray, he has served in leadership positions at Big Switch Networks, Juniper, Extreme Networks and Sun Microsystems.
