Vesa Hamalainen

Vesa Hamalainen has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Vesa started their career as a Project Manager at Procons Oy, where they worked from 1985 to 1994. Following that, they worked as a Project Manager at the Vocational Training Centre of Jyväskylä, Department of Keuruu, from 1994 to 1996. In this role, they were responsible for setting up technology service functions, customer support and sales for the ANVIL-5000 CADCAM system, and coordinating the production of learning materials for laser materials processing.

From 1996 to 2009, Vesa served as the Managing Director and shareholder at KILT Oy and Teclaser Oy. At Teclaser Oy, they also held the position of Managing Director and shareholder. In these roles, they oversaw the overall operations and management of the companies.

In 2010, Vesa joined Valtra Inc. as a Marketing Manager. Initially, they were involved in sales and marketing data migration in the SAP ERP project. Vesa later took on the role of Local Function Lead (Sales and Marketing), where they managed development tasks, testing, and data migration. Towards the end of 2011, they were promoted to the position of Marketing Manager on the marketing services team.

Alongside their professional career, Vesa also worked as a part-time lecturer at Jyväskylä University of Applied Sciences from January 2010 to May 2010.

Throughout their work experience, Vesa has demonstrated their expertise in project management, customer support, sales, and marketing.

Vesa Hamalainen obtained their high school diploma from Viitaniemen lukio, where they studied from 1976 to 1978. Following this, they pursued a Master's Degree in Technical Mechanics and Technical Mathematics at Tampere University of Technology, studying from 1979 to 1984. In 2008, they obtained a Certificated Managing Director examination from Työvoima- ja elinkeinokeskus.
