Value-Based RCM
Dan Cook has extensive experience in client services and account management. Dan began their career as a National Director at AIM Healthcare Services in 2001 and worked there until 2007. After that, they worked as an Independent Consultant from 2007 to 2008. Dan then held the position of Director of Client Services at SSC from 2008 to 2011. From 2011 to 2015, they worked as a Director of Account Management at ZirMed, which is now part of Waystar. Starting in 2015, they joined Cognizant as a Vice President of Client Services and Associate Director. Dan'smost recent position is Vice President of Client Experience at Value-Based RCM, where they have been working since 2021.
Dan Cook attended Waverly High School from 1988 to 1993. Dan then studied at Ferris State University from 1993 to 1995, focusing on Marketing/Professional Golf Management. Afterward, they enrolled at Michigan State University from 1995 to 1997, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Theory. In 1998, they joined the University of Michigan Law School for a year to study Law, but did not complete a degree in that field.
