Phoebe Markiles

Phoebe Markiles is an experienced special education teacher currently serving as a Resource Specialist Teacher at Value Schools since August 2021, where responsibilities include writing IEPs and implementing instructional accommodations for students in grades 6-8. Prior experience includes serving as a Corps Member at Teach For America from April 2020 to May 2023, and internships at Palisades Media Group, where Phoebe assisted the Netflix strategy team, and Women In Film, where online and phone research supported efforts for gender equality in the entertainment industry. Phoebe holds a Master of Arts in Special Education and Teaching from Loyola Marymount University and a degree from New York University, where studies were completed from 2017 to 2021. Education was completed at Windward School from 2011 to 2017.
