Finnur Stefansson is currently the Head Men Basketball Coach at Valur and has been in this role since 2020. They previously served as a Head Coach at Horsens Basketball from 2019 to 2020 and had extensive experience with KR Basketball from 1999 to 2018, including a stint as Head Coach. Additionally, Finnur held the position of Head Coach for the Under 20 men’s team and was an Assistant Coach for the Men’s National Team with the Icelandic Basketball Federation from 2014 to 2020. Finnur also led the youth national program from 2018 to 2023.
