Leo Burnett is the current Director & Head of Marketing at ValuStrat. Leo has over 8 years of experience working in the advertising and marketing industry in Pakistan.

Burnett started their career as an Account Manager at Grey Group in 2009. Leo spent three years at Grey Group, working on accounts such as British Council and Mezan Oil. In 2012, they moved to Ogilvy as a Senior Account Manager. During their time at Ogilvy, they worked on key accounts such as OLX, Alibaba Mobile Business Division, Engro Foods and P&G.

In 2015, Burnett left Ogilvy to join Adcom Leo Burnett as an Account Director. During their two-year tenure at Adcom Leo Burnett, they led successful marketing campaigns for Omore (a frozen dessert brand) and won the creative business of Gul Ahmed (Pakistan’s largest textile brand). Leo also won four Pakistan Advertisers Society (PAS) awards for desserts, dairy, finance and consumer staples categories.

In 2017, Burnett joined ValuStrat as the Director & Head of Marketing. Leo is responsible for leading the marketing function and developing strategies to grow the company’s portfolio revenue.

Leo Burnett graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Marketing from Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology. Leo also has certification from Adcom Leo Burnett in HumanKind, Ogilvy in Every Day Good Service and We Sell or Else, British American Tobacco in BAT Shopper Marketing Trainings, Ogilvy in White Belt Training - Digital Dojo, and Grey Group in Brand Strategy.

They are on a team with Cheryl Mcadam - Director, Residential Valuations, Sheraz Khan - Head of Autos & Heavy Equipment, and Abdur Rahman - Head of FV & Technology. Their manager is Shahid Kazi, Group Chief Executive Officer.
