Chris Remo

Designer

Chris Remo is a versatile game designer, composer, and audio director with extensive experience in the video game industry. Currently serving as a designer at Valve Corporation since April 2018, notable contributions include crucial roles in the development of Half-Life: Alyx and Dota Underlords. At Campo Santo, since December 2013, Chris has played a central role in the design and narrative development of Firewatch, alongside composing its original soundtrack. As an independent game writer and composer since 2009, Chris has contributed to numerous titles including Saturnalia and Star Wars Battlefront – Rogue One: X-Wing VR Mission. Chris co-founded Idle Thumbs and has held various roles in prominent companies such as Double Fine Productions and Irrational Games, where skills in game development, audio, and community management were honed. Chris holds a BA in Music from the University of California, Berkeley.
