Dave Kircher

Software Engineer

Dave Kircher is an experienced software engineer currently employed at Valve since July 2005, focusing on gameplay, engine, and tools programming. Prior to Valve, Kircher worked as a programmer at Sandlot Games in 2005, where significant contributions were made to the engine and gameplay code for "Incrediball: The Seven Sapphires," with a specialization in graphics for casual gamer hardware. Earlier experience includes a role as a summer teaching assistant at DigiPen Institute of Technology from 2002 to 2004, providing support to students in programming and game design. Kircher holds a Bachelor's degree in Real-Time Interactive Simulation and a Bachelor of Science in Real-Time Interactive Simulation from DigiPen Institute of Technology, completed in 2005.
