Designer

Emily Kent possesses extensive experience in design, beginning with an education from the Rochester Institute of Technology from 2000 to 2004. Emily has been with Valve since July 2010, serving as a Designer. Prior to this role, Emily worked as a Designer at frog design for a brief period in May to July 2010. Before joining frog design, Emily was part of a small design team at Pioneer Studio - Microsoft Entertainment & Devices from March 2009 to March 2010, focusing on trends for products related to Xbox and other entertainment devices. Additionally, Emily contributed to the startup Pelago from August 2007 to October 2008, where the project Whrrl aimed to assist users in finding activities based on local information. Emily's career began at Microsoft from June 2005 to June 2007, where involvement in the Xbox design team was crucial for the launch of the Xbox 360 and Zune 2.
