Luigi Freda is a Principal Engineer at Electric Sheep Robotics since April 2022, and has been working as a Freelancer in computer vision, robotics, machine learning, and AI since December 2019. Additionally, Luigi serves as a Lecturer at the Advanced School in AI, teaching Visual Perception and Spatial Computing. Previous roles include Computer Vision Engineer at Arcturus Industries, where developments focused on VR/AR technologies, and Chief Research Officer at Inglobe Technologies, leading research and development in computer vision and AI projects. Luigi has also held positions as a Research Fellow at the University of Rome "La Sapienza" and led computer vision and visual servoing initiatives at Selex ES MUAS and Unmanned Technologies Research Institute. Luigi holds a PhD in Systems Engineering from Sapienza Università di Roma and a Laurea, summa cum laude, in Computer Engineering.
