Michael Baseflug is an accomplished engineer with extensive experience in mechanical engineering and product development. Currently serving as an Engineer at Valve Corporation since October 2017, Michael previously contributed to Microsoft as a Principal Mechanical Engineer/Architect for the Surface Book from November 2015 to October 2017, where leadership in new product architecture was emphasized. Michael's tenure at Microsoft included roles as Principal Mechanical Engineer and Senior Mechanical Engineering Manager in the Kinect Sensor Group, overseeing the architecture and development of all Kinect-based products and managing teams ranging from 2 to 20 members. Prior experience at Dell included leading the mechanical engineering for notebook and docking station products and contributing to the CPx notebook launch.
