Mike Belzer

Mike Belzer is an accomplished animator with extensive experience in the animation industry, spanning over three decades. Since October 2009, Mike has been contributing as an animator at Valve. Prior to this, Mike served as a mentor at Animation Mentor.com from 2005 to 2010 and briefly worked as an animator at Rhythm & Hues in 2009, contributing to "Alvin and the Chipmunks 2." In 2008, Mike held roles as an Animation Director at Lumenas Animation Studio and as an animator for Warner Bros., focusing on a Softimage XSI project. From 1997 to 2008, Mike worked at Walt Disney Animation Studios, where significant projects included roles as animation supervisor for "Kangaroo Jack" and "Meet the Robinsons," co-animation supervisor for a canceled project, and supervising animator for "Walt Disney's Dinosaur." Earlier career highlights include roles at Twitching Image Productions on "James and the Giant Peach,” Pixar as an animator and director, and Skellington Productions on "Nightmare Before Christmas." Mike's foundational education includes an AA degree from Palomar College and attendance at Rowland High School and Sunset High School.
