Van der Vyver Inc. is a specialist law firm comprised of Attorneys, Notaries and Conveyancers based in Illovo, Sandton, Johannesburg, South Africa.

We specialise in property law with the emphasis on property development work, which includes:

 the opening of Township Registers
the opening of Sectional Title Schemes
 the registrations of subdivisions
 consolidations and
 partition transfers

We also register transfers of ownership in high value commercial, retail and residential properties.

We attend to commercial property work for corporate clients, which includes the drafting of commercial agreements,
e.g. funding agreements, agreements of sale, leases, servitudes and other real rights in property.

We assist property developers from the onset of projects and, as such, play a key role in the planning of developments and liaising with all relevant government departments and local authorities.

We pride ourselves on being able to identify risks, potential causes of delay and other property-related problems in the early planning stages of property development and transactions, and to then pro-actively find innovative solutions.

We are well known for our expertise in highly intricate, technically difficult and involved transactions and have therefore become a first port of call whenever specialist knowledge is required by property owners, property developers and mining houses
