Mart has extensive work experience in the dredging industry. They have held various roles at Van Oord, including Managing Director for Van Oord Panama S.A / Regional Commercial Manager Latin America & Caribbean, Regional Commercial Manager, Deputy Project Manager in Brazil, and Project Manager for dredging contracts in Brazil, Australia, and New Zealand. They also served as a Project Engineer and Superintendent on a significant dredging contract in Australia. Mart was also a Proposal/Tender Coordinator and Dredging Engineer. Currently, Mart is a Board Member and Vice President at Holland House Panama | Dutch - Panamanian Chamber of Commerce.

Mart attended Hanze University of Applied Sciences from 2004 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering.
