Tom van Eijk

Tom van Eijk is an experienced Works, Project, and Tender Manager at Van Oord, with a strong background in project management and operational management of dredging and coastal engineering projects. Since January 2016, Tom has led various initiatives including a €20 million beach nourishment project and tender management for the Dutch dredging market. Previous roles at Van Oord include Operations Manager for LNG hopper dredgers, Works Manager for the Hollandse Kust Zuid Export Cable project, and Project Engineer for the Palm Jumeirah Breakwater in Dubai. Tom's foundational education includes Master of Science degrees in Hydraulic Engineering and Water Resources Management from the National University of Singapore and Civil Engineering from Delft University of Technology, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Delft University of Technology. Prior to Van Oord, Tom gained experience as a Graduate Intern at Royal HaskoningDHV and as an Engineering Intern at Van Oord.
