The company was established in 1983. During the first period of its existence the company was primarily concerned with the wiring of distribution panels. 

The growth and direction of the company led to the inclusion of sheet metal work, and later in-house powder coating. During the years that followed, the company’s capacity grew to include cnc cutting, punching and bending. Today Van Wyk’s Electrical is a company that manufactures complete products, from design to assembly and wiring. 

Van Wyk’s Electrical is a proud manufacturer of various sheet metal enclosures and products. These include distribution boards, wall mount and floor standing panels, Stainless Steel enclosures, control desks and other stock items. Certified busbar systems for low voltage distribution boards, as well as the complete wiring of panels are also part of the Van Wyk’s Electrical services. Van Wyk’s Electrical also manufactures panels, enclosures, and specialized units according to customer specifications.
