Andrew Mak has a diverse work experience starting in 2010 with internships at Blue Box Group and WePay. In 2011, they worked in marketing, media, and corporate sponsorship at International Genetic Engineered Machines. In 2012, they were a prize design strategist at XPRIZE Labs at the University of Washington. In 2013, they were involved in growth marketing at Experiment.com (formerly Microryza) before starting their own cultural research and strategy consulting firm called Field Trip. In 2016, they worked as a brand strategist at Goodby Silverstein & Partners, where they worked on campaigns for Adobe and XFINITY. Andrew then joined POSSIBLE in 2017 as a senior brand strategist for Xbox.com. In 2019, Andrew joined Picsart, initially as the director of consumer insights and brand strategy, then as the director of marketing strategy, and finally as the senior director of marketing strategy. Currently, Andrew is the head of marketing and brand at Vana, where they are building a world-class marketing team. Throughout their career, Andrew has developed audience segments, brand trackers, and successful campaigns, ultimately contributing to the growth and success of the companies they have worked with.
Andrew Mak obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Comparative History of Ideas from the University of Washington, completing their studies from 2010 to 2012.
