Tim Moreton

Tim Moreton is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across various companies. Currently serving as an Advisor to the executive team at cLabs since June 2018, Tim has also held the positions of CEO and Head of Engineering at the same organization, which focuses on creating an open global payments infrastructure through Celo. Tim is a Director at Bridge Trust, a regulated trust company for digital assets, and an Advisor at Open Data Labs, promoting user-owned AI. Previously, Tim worked at Apple as a Principal Engineering Manager, overseeing cloud infrastructure, and co-founded Acunu, an analytics platform acquired by Apple. Tim's earlier roles include positions at Tideway Systems and Kianga Technologies, along with a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Cambridge, where significant research contributions were made to public distributed computing.
