Steve Maresca

Steve Maresca has a diverse work experience that spans over 16 years, which started when they were a student security analyst at the University of Connecticut in 2005. Steve then moved on to become a security analyst, where they specialized in data analytics, systems forensics, log aggregation and analysis, secure wireless infrastructure, PCI compliance, and secure application development. Steve was later promoted to the Identity Access Management team lead and stayed until 2016.

In 2007, Steve joined Zentific LLC as a Senior Security Engineer. Steve specialized in systems security and virtualization management, with a particular focus on Xen, VMware, and cloud-based platforms like Amazon EC2 and Openstack. Steve developed virtualization management tools and led research efforts in virtualization and infrastructure security.

In 2018, Steve joined Vancord as a Senior Security Engineer, where they currently work.

Steve Maresca attended the University of Connecticut in 2004. Steve pursued a Bachelor of Science degree and majored in Computer Science and English. However, it is not known when they completed their degree or if they pursued any further education after their time at the university.
