Jonathan Rees

Jonathan Rees is the Vice President, Events & Fan Experience at Vancouver Whitecaps. Jonathan has over 15 years of experience in the events and marketing industry.

Jonathan started their career as a Community Advisor at the University of Calgary. Jonathan then moved to Rogers Communications as a Marketing Manager for Rogers Media Television. In 2010, they were a Reporter for Vancouver 2010 Olympic Games with Canada's Olympic Broadcast Media Consortium.

In 2011, Jonathan joined Vancouver Whitecaps FC as their Senior Marketing Manager. Jonathan was with the organization for four years until they were promoted to their current role in 2015.

Jonathan Rees reports to Jeff Mallett, Co-Owner & Executive Chair. They work with Nikolas Overheul - Director of Player Recruitment, Steve Luczo - Co-Owner, and Jennifer Fong - Director, People & Culture.
