Robert McCormack

Orthopaedic Surgeon

Robert McCormack is a Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the UBC Department of Orthopaedics and has served as an Orthopaedic Surgeon for varsity athletics at Trinity Western University and Simon Fraser University until 2023. Currently, Robert holds multiple roles, including Orthopaedic Surgeon for Vancouver Whitecaps FC, Chief Medical Officer for both the Canadian Premier League and Canadian Football League, and Head Physician for national teams in curling and softball. Additionally, Robert was the Medical Director for the Canadian Olympic Committee from 2005 to 2019, coordinating health care for Olympic team athletes. Robert earned an MD in Medicine from Queen's University from 1973 to 1979.
