Vandecasteele Houtimport was founded in 1883. Its experience and dynamism have made it one of the leading timber companies in Belgium and Europe.

Extensive stocks are kept in 16 ha of undercover storage on a 60 ha site in Aalbeke.

The company is specialized in importing tropical hardwoods from Africa, South America and East Asia. Vandecasteele Houtimport also imports European softwoods and hardwoods, softwoods and temperate hardwoods from North America. Several species are available with FSC®, PEFC, OLB, or Legal SourceTM.
