Emmanuel Cottem

Emmanuel Cottem has a strong background in finance and accounting. Emmanuel started their career as an Accounting Intern at Deloitte Belgium in 2008. Emmanuel then joined PwC Belgium, where they worked as an Auditor and later Senior Consultant Finance, gaining experience in financial auditing and administrative processes. In 2018, they moved to Vandemoortele, first working as a Controller before being promoted to Divisional Commercial Controller. In their current role as Head of Finance UK at Vandemoortele, Emmanuel is responsible for managing finance and controlling activities in the UK, providing leadership to the finance team, and acting as a key contact for internal and external stakeholders.

Emmanuel Cottem has a strong education background in the field of commerce and management. Emmanuel obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Commercial sciences from KU Leuven between 2009 and 2011. Following that, they pursued a postgraduate degree in Marketing/Marketing Management, General at EHSAL Management School from 2011 to 2012. Prior to their master's degree, Emmanuel completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accountancy Tax at Katholieke Hogeschool Zuid-West-Vlaanderen from 2006 to 2009. For their secondary education, they attended Pleinschool in Kortrijk from 2000 to 2006. Apart from their formal education, Emmanuel also holds a certification in "Leaders 4 Growth" from Canvas Credentials (Badgr), obtained in 2022.
