Brian Humphrey

Brian Humphrey is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and client engagement. Currently serving as Director of Client Engagement Platforms at Vanguard since January 2020, Brian is responsible for the technical vision and delivery excellence of Regulated Output, including Tax Reporting and Cost Basis solutions. Prior to Vanguard, Brian held leadership roles at Barclays, overseeing Contact Centre technology services, and at 5AM Solutions, where as Director of Software Engineering, Brian managed software engineering teams and developed significant health information exchange projects. Brian started their career at Booz Allen Hamilton as a Consultant, honing skills in Java and C++, and has contributed to various organizations in roles ranging from software engineer to president of a consulting firm. Brian holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Maryland and is pursuing a Master’s degree in Information Technology Software Engineering at the University of Maryland Global Campus.
