Frances Han is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in compliance and capital markets law. Currently serving as the Senior Compliance Director and Head of Fund & Advisor Advice and Guidance at Vanguard since 2003, Frances leads fund and advisor compliance efforts. Prior roles include Senior Counsel on the Capital Markets Legal Team, specializing in fintech, separately managed accounts, and global derivatives, as well as Associate Counsel focused on securities regulation and derivatives. Frances began her career at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP in the Business and Finance Group and held a position as Associate at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP in banking and finance and mergers and acquisitions. Frances earned a JD from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School and an AB from Princeton University in the School of Public and International Affairs.
