Jeylan Erman

Jeylan Erman is a Behavioral Scientist at Vanguard since May 2021, working within the Employee Listening Team. Previously, Jeylan served as a People Analytics Consultant at the University of Pennsylvania from September 2015 to August 2021 and was a Graduate Research Fellow during the same period. Additional experience includes a Data Science Fellowship at Insight Data Science from September to October 2020 and a Graduate Student role at the Department of Sociology, Stockholm University from September 2013 to August 2015. Earlier career highlights include positions as a Sub-Editor and Writer at The Energy Year from August 2011 to August 2013, and as a Fulbright Research Scholar from 2010 to 2011. Jeylan holds a PhD in Sociology and Demography from the University of Pennsylvania (2015-2021), an A.B. in Economics and Near Eastern Studies from Princeton University (2004-2008), and a Master of Arts in Demography from Stockholm University (2013-2015).
