John Howie

John Howie is an experienced leader in the financial services industry, currently serving as the Head of RIA National Site and Regional Sales for Financial Advisor Services at Vanguard since August 2008. In this role, John is a key member of the RIA senior distribution leadership team, managing multiple sales teams across the US RIA market and spearheading various cross-divisional sales enablement and talent strategy initiatives. Previously, John held leadership positions at Vanguard that included overseeing Retail Change of Ownership Services and managing high net worth sales. John's foundational experience includes co-owning a residential real estate business and academic achievements with an MBA from Drexel University and a bachelor's degree in Finance and Management from Penn State University. Additionally, John graduated from The Wharton School's Securities Industry Institute.
