Laura Young, PhD, is a Senior UX Researcher at Vanguard since September 2022, focusing on mixed methods research to support evidence-based decision making within cross-functional product teams. Prior to this role, Laura served as a Research Scientist at Temple University for a decade, leading large-scale research projects and publishing findings in peer-reviewed journals. Previous experience includes positions as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow and various adjunct instructor roles, where Laura taught courses in child development and statistics. Laura holds a PhD and a Master's degree in Educational Psychology from Temple University, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Penn State University.
