Matthew Atkinson

Matthew Atkinson, CFP®, CIMA®, CSRIC®, has extensive experience in the financial services industry, currently serving as a Senior Manager for Portfolio Construction & Behavioral Coaching Insights at Vanguard since June 2011. Matthew has held various roles at Vanguard, including Manager of Economics & Portfolio Construction and Senior Investment Analyst, where responsibilities included conducting research in portfolio construction and investment strategies, designing data-driven portfolio methodologies, and educating advisors. Prior to Vanguard, Matthew was a Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, focusing on comprehensive wealth management for families and individuals. Earlier experience includes internal auditing roles in the real estate sector and volunteer youth pastor activities. Matthew holds an MBA in Global Business Management & Leadership from Regent University and a B.S. in Exercise and Sports Science from The University of Tulsa.
