Michael Afrin

Michael Afrin is currently a Tech Lead at Vanguard, where they oversee significant projects in software engineering and application development. Previously, they held various roles at Vanguard, including Software Engineer III and participated in the Technology Leadership Program. Michael also served as VP of Operations for the Moneythink USC Chapter, significantly improving mentor scheduling through a Java program. Earlier in their career, they interned in finance and accounting at Lycoming Engines and worked as a Front Service Clerk at Publix Super Markets. Michael earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from the University of South Carolina, graduating with honors.
