Michael Carr

Michael Carr is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in the financial services sector. As the Chief Technology Officer at Vanguard since 2020, they previously held various leadership roles within the company, including Divisional CIO for Personal Investor and Head of Global Technology Operations. Carr's earlier career includes serving as a Director at Verizon, where they managed contact center technology, and as an Engineer in the Nuclear Department at PPL Corporation. They earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and completed the Wharton AMP in Business Administration and Management.
