Michael Rant

Michael Rant is an accomplished attorney currently serving as the Assistant General Counsel at Vanguard, providing legal counsel for the Institutional Investment Group. Previously, Rant held the position of Director and Managing Counsel at BNY Mellon | Pershing, overseeing managed accounts and investment services. With a robust background in federal securities laws, ERISA, and contract negotiations, Rant has also worked as Vice President and Corporate Counsel at The Prudential Insurance Company of America, where they managed litigation and regulatory compliance. Rant earned a JD from Fordham University School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Marine Transportation from the United States Merchant Marine Academy.
