Michael Roach

Michael Roach, CFA, currently serves as the Head of Multi-Asset Portfolio Management at Vanguard, where they oversee portfolio management functions for the firm's multi-asset solutions. They joined Vanguard in 1998 and have held various strategic roles, including Head of U.S. Equity Operational Risk and regional head of the Quantitative Equity Group in Australia. With over a decade of direct portfolio management experience, Michael has contributed to the development of investment strategies across multiple portfolios. They earned an M.S. in finance from Drexel University and a B.S. in business administration with a concentration in finance from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania, complemented by an executive education program at Harvard Business School.
