Michael Russell

Michael Russell, CFA, has extensive experience in investment management and accounting, currently serving as a Senior Trader at Vanguard since August 1999, where responsibility includes managing the day-to-day investment of the Variable Insurance Money Market Fund with a substantial $550 billion in assets under management. Prior to this role, Michael held an oversight position as an Accountant at ING, focusing on international equity and bond mutual funds. At PFPC Global, Michael was an Investment Accountant II, handling full cycle accounting for Dimensional Fund Advisors' funds. Earlier career roles included management positions in retail at Eckerd, Thrift Drug, Drug Emporium, and Super Fresh. Michael Russell holds an MBA in Financial Management and Management Information Systems from Drexel University's LeBow College of Business and a B.S. in Marketing from West Chester University of Pennsylvania.
