Qian Wang

Qian Wang serves as the Global Head of Vanguard Capital Market Model and Managing Director, Chief Economist for Asia-Pacific at Vanguard since October 2014. Previously, Qian held the position of Director of Research at China Investment Corporation from February 2011 to October 2014. Additionally, Qian worked at JPMorgan Chase Bank from 2006 to 2011 as Chief China Economist and Head of Great China Macro Research. Early in the career, Qian was an Assistant Professor at The Chinese University of Hong Kong from 2003 to 2006. Qian holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration from Stanford University Graduate School of Business, a Master's degree in Economics from Duke University, and a Bachelor's degree in International Economics from Peking University.
