Trace Sauter

Trace Sauter is an AI researcher and applied mathematician currently pursuing a Master's degree in Applied and Computational Mathematics at Johns Hopkins University. They recently graduated with a joint MBA/MS in Computer Science from the University of Chicago. Trace has held various positions, including Director of Technology at Jurna and Chief Technology Officer at Swimmingly® LLC, and is currently a Senior Data Scientist at Vanguard, focusing on AI and applied mathematics in investment management. With a background in risk analysis at Bank of America and a B.S. in Mathematics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, they enjoy creatively solving complex problems using modern computational methods.
