Vanessa Richards

Vanessa Richards is currently the Global Head of Fraud Prevention and Site Security at Vanguard. With a robust background in consumer fraud risk management, they have held leadership roles at various notable organizations, including as Head of Fraud Defense Cyber Center at PayPal and Deputy Chief & Assistant U.S. Attorney with the National Security & Cyber Crimes Unit. Vanessa began their legal career as a Litigation Associate at Friedman Kaplan Seiler & Adelman LLP and later served as a Judicial Law Clerk for The Chambers of the Honorable William H. Yohn, Jr. They earned a Bachelor of Arts from Barnard College and a Doctor of Law from the University of Pennsylvania.
