Matthew Crouse

Matthew Crouse serves as the Director of Product Engineering at Higher Logic Vanilla since October 2023. Previously, Matthew held various roles at Higher Logic, including Manager of Software Engineering, where responsibilities included managing multiple teams of software engineers, QA analysts, and Dev Ops engineers, as well as serving as Scrum Master/Team Lead. Matthew's career began at Kavi Corporation, contributing to the development of a SaaS collaboration platform and enhancing user experience through interface design. Early experiences include roles as a Teaching Assistant at Portland Code School, Front-End Developer at Lead Lizard, and a coordinating position at Oregon Zoo. Matthew holds a Bachelor's degree in Microbiology from Oregon State University and has further education from Portland State University and Portland Code School.
