Chris Murphy

Chris Murphy is a seasoned writer and performer, currently serving as a Staff Writer for Vanity Fair since March 2021. Previously, Murphy worked as a Part-Time Writer for Vulture at New York Magazine from September 2019 to March 2021 and as a Freelance Journalist for Atlanta Black Star from April 2017 to January 2019. Experience also includes roles as an Academic Coach and Tutor at Bespoke Education, Inc. and Private Prep, Inc., where support was provided for standardized test preparation. As an Actor, Murphy was represented by Take 3 Talent Agency and participated in various productions including Baby Wants Candy and the Williamstown Theatre Festival.
