Diego Valdes

Diego Valdes is a Senior Design Engineer currently leading the design at VanMoof, focusing on their first premium electric scooter. With previous experience at LAVOIE, Diego was responsible for the mechanical design of the Series 1 electric scooter. Prior to these roles, Diego worked as a Design Engineer at Harper Engineering Company, specializing in aircraft interior components, and at Greenpoint Technologies, where they coordinated seat installations and ensured FAA compliance. Diego began their engineering journey by earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Miami.
